With the help of social media you can build a loyal fan base and establish yourself as an industry expert. Unfortunately, social networks take up a lot of time. Most marketers spend hours a week on social media. And you have to deal with a lot of competition. Everyone has a profile on social networks. Mothers (even grandmothers) use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other platforms today. If you want to stand out from the crowd, you have to put a lot of time and work into maintaining social media. I used to spend hours every day in the social avoidance just so I wouldn't miss the boat. Most people spend almost two hours a day on social networks.
They are a real time waster, but we cannot live without them either, because they are ideal for exchanging ideas with fans and customers. I use them to promote my content and get more sales.
So what can you do when time is short but the competition isn't sleeping?
How do you beat your competitors?
Fortunately, there are numerous programs and services that can help us with this. There are programs that you can use to automate your workflow in order to outperform the competition. I use them every day because they help me offer better content and always be one step ahead of other brands. In this article, I'll show you five examples of great social media services that you can use to overtake your competition and save time at the same time.
1. Agora Pulse for planning your posts
Agora Pulse is one of my favorite social media management programs. With this program I can schedule my posts for Twitter, Facebook and Instagram in one and the same user interface. In addition, the program has dynamic functions, such as a detailed result report for all social networks. You can easily plan new content and even run campaigns. But it gets even better. There is a trial version so that you can test the program extensively before you make a purchase decision. It has numerous free tools that I use regularly to monitor my results.
2. Bitly for link tracking
If you're looking for link tracking software, try Bitly. It's very easy to use and no other program can match its features. Simply copy a link, for example the URL of one of your blog posts, into the box provided and press Enter. Now Bitly creates a shortened link that is clearer and automatically collects data. Do you want to know who clicks the links in your Facebook posts? Or on the links of your tweets? Do you want to know what the user does afterwards? You can find out all of this with Bitly.
3. Quintly for analytical reports
Quintly is one of my favorite social media analytics programs. I know that's a bold statement. But E is really helpful! I can use the great reports to measure and optimize my performance. Google Analytics is great, but not tailored to social media. I would have to dig through a lot of data and reports to find helpful data on how my social profiles were performing. The in-house analysis reports from Facebook and Twitter are simply not detailed enough. You just can't keep up with the data and information from service providers like Quintly. With Quintly you can also compare your performance with those of your competitors. You can spy on your competitors' social strategy to gain an advantage.
4. MeetEdgar for the automated sharing of your posts
MeetEdgar is a very versatile program for social media. It fulfills the tasks of a content manager without having to hire a new employee. (So you don't have to pay an additional salary.) Edgar is an automation program that automatically shares your best posts over and over again, thus saving you a lot of time. Would you like to share particularly successful posts again, but don't feel like rummaging through all the content to find the appropriate posts? No problem. That's what Edgar is for.
The program automatically shares your content and in this way helps you to achieve more reach and engagement. In addition, you can assign your content to certain categories. If you want to share content on the topic of content marketing in a specific profile, you can do that. And if you want to share content on the topic of SEO in another profile, you can too. The program is very diverse. You can use it to share your best content over and over again and don't even have to lift a finger yourself.
5. Socedo for lead generation
Socedo is an automated social media service that can be used to collect B2B leads. The program can be linked to Twitter and LinkedIn to generate better leads.
